Rs 47 crore development works approved by finance & contract committee in Manesar

Manesar : The Finance and Contract Committee of the Municipal Corporation Manesar (MCM) has approved 19 development works worth around Rs 47 crore aimed at improving road infrastructure across several villages in the corporation area. The meeting was chaired by Mayor Dr. Inderjeet Kaur Yadav.

According to officials, nine works from Division-1 and ten works from Division-2 were cleared during the meeting. Most of the approved projects involve the construction and improvement of major roads connecting villages in the municipal limits.

In Division-1, key projects include construction of the road from Hayatpur to Garhi village in Ward-3 at a cost of Rs 1.54 crore and the construction of a main road in Shikohpur village in Wards-17 and 18 costing Rs 2.82 crore. Another road from Bhangrola village to Bas Road in Wards-6 and 7 will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.82 crore. In Ward-4, a 1.5-km road from Pataudi Road to Dhorka village will be developed for Rs 4.26 crore.

Other projects include road, footpath and drain construction from Garhi village to Harsaru in Ward-1 for Rs 2.88 crore and completion of the remaining work on the main road in Bamrauli village of Ward-3 at a cost of Rs 1.43 crore. A road from Pataudi Road to Mewka village in Ward-4 will be constructed at Rs 4.56 crore. Additionally, a road from Hayatpur to Dhanna Road will be built for Rs 5.21 crore, while another road from Kidzee School in Hayatpur to Nayasha petrol pump in Nawada village will cost Rs 1.22 crore.

In Division-2, the committee approved several connectivity projects. These include a road from NH-48 to Nainwal village in Ward-16 costing Rs 1.05 crore and a road from Kota Khandewla to Bar Gurjar village costing Rs 1.13 crore. Another road from Bar Gurjar village to Baba Mohan Ram Temple will be built for Rs 1.17 crore.

Additional projects include roads connecting Nainwal village to Khati Dhani and Munshi Dhani for Rs 1.19 crore and from Kota Khandewla to Baba Mohan Ram Temple for Rs 1.72 crore. A major road from Kota Khandewla to Naurangpur village will be developed at a cost of Rs 6.40 crore. In Ward-9, a road from NH-48 to Sahrawan village will be constructed for Rs 2.22 crore.

Other works include a road from NH-48 to Kukdola village costing Rs 1.81 crore, a road from Rampura Chowk on NH-48 to Nakhrola village for Rs 1.32 crore, and a road connecting Manesar village to Puran Bhagat Temple in Kasan village for Rs 2.13 crore.

The list of approved projects was signed by Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Yadav, Deputy Mayor Reema Chauhan, committee members Ram Prakash and Sunita Kumari, Joint Commissioner Hitender Kumar, XEN Nijesh Kumar, Mandeep Dhanakhar and CAO Sanjay Kumar.
