Manesar: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Rao said that the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project would soon gather momentum, crediting the consistent efforts of Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh.
She stated that the project would play a crucial role in giving a new identity to Gurugram district, particularly the Manesar region, by improving regional connectivity and boosting economic growth.
Addressing public programmes organised by local councillors across various wards of the Municipal Corporation Manesar (MCM), the Health Minister highlighted the state government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure.
She announced that Ayushman Arogya Mandirs would be established in Manesar to ensure accessible primary healthcare services for residents.
Aarti Rao further said that healthcare facilities at Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) within the Manesar municipal area would be upgraded.

In a major announcement, she revealed that the number of beds at the under-construction government hospital in Gurugram district would be increased to 600, significantly enhancing patient care capacity.
Speaking about infrastructure development, the Health Minister said that landmark projects such as the Dwarka Expressway, completed during Rao Inderjit Singh’s tenure, have already transformed Gurugram’s connectivity and national profile. She added that the upcoming Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) would further accelerate the district’s development and attract investment.
Manesar Mayor Dr Inderjit Kaur Yadav, who was present at the events, urged the state government to increase the number of CHCs and PHCs in the municipal area to meet the growing healthcare demands of the population.
Later in the day, Aarti Rao visited Kasan village, where she announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh for local development works at a programme organised by councillor Bhupender Singh.
