24×7 LPG control room launched in Gurugram to tackle complaints, Black marketing

Gurugram: In a major step to strengthen grievance redressal and curb irregularities in LPG distribution, the district administration has set up a dedicated 24×7 control room with dedicated helpline number 0124-2868930 at the Mini Secretariat.

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar said the move aims to ensure swift action against complaints related to LPG shortages, supply delays, black marketing, hoarding, and illegal diversion. The control room has been established in the NIC room on the second floor of the Mini Secretariat, enabling residents to report issues round the clock.

District Food & Supplies Controller Dr. Ashok Rawat informed that all complaints received on the helpline number will be addressed on priority. He added that any reports of black marketing or illegal storage will be promptly investigated, and strict action will be taken against those found guilty.

Officials have urged residents to immediately report any irregularities in LPG supply to help the administration act swiftly and maintain transparency in distribution.

Strict Monitoring, Field Teams Deployed

To further tighten control, the administration has deployed six field teams conducting daily inspections at gas agencies, warehouses, and other suspicious locations. This proactive monitoring is helping authorities quickly identify and act against any violations.

No Shortage of LPG, Assures Administration

Reassuring residents, officials confirmed that there is no shortage of LPG in the district. Currently, 58 gas agencies hold a combined stock of 15,311 cylinders, ensuring uninterrupted supply.

The administration is also closely monitoring distribution on a daily basis to prevent any future disruptions and maintain a steady supply chain.

Residents are advised not to panic and rely only on official channels for LPG services.
